Open your Road to Recovery.

Open Rhodes 2 Recovery is sustained through donations from foundations, corporations, local business, and particularly individuals. Your generous contribution enables us to offer FREE services to individuals who are suffering from substance use disorder (SUD) and their families, ensuring they have access to the support and services they rightfully need.

is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded on March 28, 2024. The founders' journey to recovery from Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) began with the tragic accidental opioid overdose of their brother and best friend, Clifford Rhodes, on November 4, 2016. In honor of Cliff and all those lost to addiction, OR2R is dedicated to removing recovery barriers and ending the stigma associated with addiction. Cliff's story has become a beacon of hope, inspiration, and passion, driving our mission to provide hope and support to those still battling substance use disorder (SUD).
OR2R Vision:
To end the stigma of addiction and recovery by providing hope and support for the community we serve.
OR2R Mission:
Open Rhodes 2 Recovery, Inc., also known and referred to as “OR2R”, supports the recovery community (people in recovery, family members, friends, and allies) by providing non-biased, professional peer-based services focused on ending the discrimination and stigma surrounding addiction and recovery, and opening new roads by removing barriers to recovery by supporting individual pathways through education, advocacy, services, and harm reduction while maintaining dignity and respect for all.
OR2R is located at 374 West Patriot St, Somerset, PA 15501

OR2R provides Peer-based Recovery Support Services (P-BRSS), offering mutual, non-professional, and non-clinical support to help individuals maintain long-term recovery from alcohol and drug-related challenges. Our Recovery Community Organization (RCO) employs the Recovery Oriented System of Care (ROSC) model, a network of community-based services designed to assist those with or at risk of substance use issues in improving their health and life quality. ROSCs prioritize the individual, leveraging the strengths of individuals, families, and communities. They strive to create a values-driven system of care that fosters recovery through partnerships and collaborative decision-making. These services are a complement to professional addiction treatment, with OR2R bridging the gap to professional services that enhance recovery capital. Recovery Specialists support individuals by boosting their recovery capital in four key areas: physical, human, social, and cultural.
OR2R is proud of its team of Certified Recovery Specialists and Certified Family Recovery Specialists, accredited by the Pennsylvania Certification Board, who have personal recovery experiences or are family members of individuals who have used drugs. This team, characterized by empathy, compassion, experience, and knowledge, provides direct peer support to People Who Use Drugs (PWUD), those in recovery, and their families, offering resources and a SAFE secure environment to nurture each person's recovery journey. The Recovery Community Organization (RCO) Center in Somerset further supports various recovery paths by hosting a range of support groups and meetings, such as All Recovery Meetings, SMART Recovery Meetings, Family Support Groups, Faith-based Groups, Gamblers Anonymous GA, and Grief Groups. OR2R is dedicated to enhancing your recovery capital by concentrating on the four domains of recovery: Home, Health, Purpose, and Community.
OR2R offers support, education, harm reduction, and advocacy for individuals in recovery. Remember, you are not alone! There is HOPE for a brighter future.
As OR2R expands, we continue to provide additional support services. Come check us out.
